I can't speak for them too much myself, as I have only watched a few of them here and there, but they always seem to come recommended. The ones I did watch were pretty good/

I'm not onto my second job as a graphic designer and learned most of what I know (initially) through the lynda.com tutorials. They're gold.

community college is not bad, or just a few classes at a state school. that or try to get an internship as a designer? the best are taught.

If only I would have known the pay differences between video editors and designers before I went to school! But that is neither here nor there. If you want to learn about graphic design (as opposed to software) I don't think Lynda.com is a good place to go. Look into some continuing education courses at art schools near you.

Only problem is how full my schedule is and my lack of funds. That's why I'd like to find an online class or a book or something that I could do at my convenience, no deadlines or need to attend a class or anything of that sort.
