He's in black and yellow though, like the bat signal. I think this was actually clever, in this case.

Fugazi is for sure a punk band. A very creative and dynamic one, but very certainly a punk band.

What is the "Earth-light" that illuminates the dark side of the moon? by CSG22in askscience

[–]CSG22[S] 0 points1 point ago

I see, thank you. I was I was confusing the phases of the moon with a lunar eclipse it seems.

I think part of my question still stands though- how exactly does sunlight get to the side of the moon not facing the sun?

How To Troll A Monkey by bigboyzin videos

[–]CSG22 0 points1 point ago

The grape monkey isn't rigging the game though. If it was another monkey (grape monkeys friend) who was giving out the rewards, we might have a better allegory. And even then, not a complete one. Engineered injustice is a bigger problem than happenstantial injustice. It's not God giving us cucumbers instead of grapes- it's each other.

However, this is science, so creating a fitting allegory isn't the goal. I think it was just a sly quip on the professors behalf ;)

FUCK YEAH ON MY BIRTHDAY

I'm turning 21 this year, but I get mistaken as a 15-16 year old all the time. Is it my hair? Or how I present myself? by LostCrowin malefashionadvice

[–]CSG22 0 points1 point ago

I had the same problem and then I grew a beard.

Also, I'm going to get downvoted for this but keep the lip ring if you want it. There are no rules, all you need is a beard. Trust me.

Trust me.

One of many reasons dogs are > cats. by whyteguyin pics

[–]CSG22 5 points6 points ago

You're right, but if you let me play the annoying philosophy major and nit-pick, it's not that they serve different "purposes," it's that they're both intrinsically good in different, incomparable ways. We make spoons and forks- we didn't make dogs and cats.

My point is, we can't apply teleological human value to nature, it's not all about us. Well, we do breed them... damn, never mind.

Perceived difficulty by lifebinderin Diablo

[–]CSG22 1 point2 points ago*

The reason D2 was so hard for you was because you didn't make a "viable build," which is precisely the problem with D2. At times it was barely even fun sticking to a per-determined build, and a well-rounded barb is going to have a hard time past normal. Sometimes it was fun finding new "viable" builds, the bow assassin a cool example, but there really was only so many "godly" builds. It created a sort of inflation on character value, some became godly, and the rest became worthless. (bots and duping and all that nonsense played a role here as well)

In D3, which, by the way, is an entirely new game, this problem is alleviated with the new skill system, a welcome change, in my book, to an already amazing series.

In short, your problem was your build, and that won't be a problem in D3, because you can respec as often as you want. In D3 it seems to come down to player skill and gear, rather than following a strictly planned build.
