Believe what you want mate, It's no skin off my nose. I'm saying that not every German soldier and 'Nazi' would of agreed with what was going on around them at the time so it's unfair to look at them all with a blind hatred. There's no way I'm going to try and attempt to 'support' that claim, it's a claim based on common sense relating to what we know now and how little they knew about what was going on compared to what we'd know nowadays given the same situation.

I'm not dismissing anyone's accounts of what went on in the Camps, I'm simply saying not everything should be taken at face value and not every Nazi was a wicked trigger happy gobshite.

I can understand why people are quick to downvote you, but you're totally right.

We act as though everything that was said and written about the Second World War to be the gospel truth, when in reality it definitely wasn't. A hell of a lot of misinformation was spread by all sides during the war, a practice that's been honed to perfection in modern society. That's the point I'm getting to really, I'm in no way attempting to pardon the actions of the Nazi's - but there must of been people fighting who realised they'd got it wrong, same as there are people now who do the same.

If we have trouble determining the truth with the access to information we have today then how can we place so much trust in media establishments from 60 years ago. There were obviously a hell of a lot of German soldiers who agreed with Nazi policy, but there were probably an equal number who had the misfortune of being born as a German citizen in the 1940s with a crackpot leader in Adolf Hitler
