JUST found out about this show. by icculus88in TheLastAirbender

[–]IAmALobster 8 points9 points ago

Netflix is the best for the original series as others have stated, and when you're done with it, you can watch all of the episodes of The Legend of Korra right on nick.com, as others have stated!

I will say one more thing. There is a live-action movie based on the first season of the original series, made by M. Night Shyamalan. We normally pretend it does not exist here on this subreddit, but somebody must warn you! It is bad. Beyond bad. It's horrific, it's an abomination. If you end up loving the show as we do, DO NOT WATCH IT. It will only make you sad and angry.

Emma is okay, but Jack... he annoyed the living hell out of me. I got so sick of his Daddy issues and stupid love quadrangle thing. I wish he'd been killed by the smoke monster in the very first episode, as they originally planned. Or I wish it was him instead of Charlie.

Nothing... but this particular thread is just for silliness and fun, not serious theories.

Katara's Role in LOK, throughout the series by DarkSolacein TheLastAirbender

[–]IAmALobster 0 points1 point ago

For some reason, I completely missed when you mentioned the full moon in you other comment. Derp!

On the other hand though, as someone mentioned, he just might be arrogant enough to make a point of battling Korra during a full moon, just to further prove how powerful he is. I doubt he would, honestly, but you never know.

It's entirely possible that Amon has no idea what bloodbending even is though. Hama, Katara, Sokka, Aang, Toph, and maybe Zuko are the only ones who even knew what bloodbending was, and I doubt they ever really told anyone about it. From what I remember, the villagers she captured just thought she was some sort of witch.

Then again, he would at least know water benders were more powerful during the full moon. Hmm.

I bet we'll see her again when Pema has her baby! I'd just like to see Katara more in general. I bet even in her old age, she could really mess some equalists up.

Scumbag Sato by FireLordOzaiin TheLastAirbender

I'm betting the same fire bender killed Asami's mother and Bolin and Mako's parents, but a different one (possibly Yakone) killed Amon's parents... if he's not lying.

Yakone was "taken care of" by Aang long before Mako, Bolin, and Asami were even born, so we know it wasn't Yakone who killed their parents.

Considering the large banana right on the wrapper, I don't see how anybody could mistake it for lemon...

I like lemon flavored candy! Banana is infinitely better though.

Ever tried Stonyfield Farm BaNilla (banana + vanilla) yogurt? Amazing. And banana Laffy Taffy is a like little piece of heaven wrapped in a corny joke.

Me too (although I do still looove real bananas)!! Whenever I'm expecting lemon candy and get banana, I am happy.

In hindsight, it does! I've seen some pretty insane theories floating around the internet that people take seriously though, so sometimes it's hard to tell who is joking and who is not! >_<

It's okay, I just didn't do a good job explaining what happened. Thank you for being understanding, and congratulations on the upcoming little one! :)

I agree that the name-calling and cursing was very immature, and I apologize for that. I had just received some rather upsetting news, and I was indeed very angry at the time.

However, let me try to explain the full situation- I tried to look at the objects she was ringing up, at her face, etc. I had VERY limited space to look/concentrate on elsewhere, and I'm also rather short and she was kind of tall, so it was pretty much right at my head-level. She was standing right up against the counter the whole time, and her entire (large) breast was out, not just her nipple. It was just one of those weird situations. You set me up as some weird pervert and made some pretty bold presumptions without really knowing the full story. I'm not some crazy prude who thinks public breastfeeding is gross, or that a baby crying automatically means "bad parent".

I've seen many women breastfeed in public, and it really does not bother me at all. I even will probably do it myself someday. But consideration goes both ways. If it were me, I would have at least covered up a bit (if it didn't bother the baby), or maybe taken a step back from the register. It was waaaaay more of a space issue than a breastfeeding issue, but I guess I didn't make that very clear.

Again, I'm really sorry I was so rude to you before.
