Aw man, this is exactly what I didn't want to hear. Yeah not being taken seriously at work I can foresee as being a big annoyance. I'll just try and get a job with minimal face to face interaction.

Yep, that was me at 18 too. Glad to know I'm not the only one! Yeah I think what the overall feeling of these comments are is that in 10 years we'll be the ones having an awesome time, I guess it's just a question of patience. Question: are you short and skinny too?

Yeah I'm not unnattractive but the ladies are definitely a problem for me at the moment. Probably just confidence issues though as you said. Thanks for the reassurance that things will get better.

I wish! By the time I was any good at it I would probably be past the stage where my looks were of any real benefit. Although they usually do cast actors who are years older than their character in teen movies, so maybe I have like a 10 year leeway!

This is the one benefit I have thought of :) But man, it just seems so far away and I just want to enjoy this time of my life like all my friends. Did you get a lot of shit for it when you were 21?

I know. I've been fine with it for years, but it has just really started to hit home since I've turned 21. I love everything in my life except this one thing and it drags me down way more than it should, but I can't figure out how to change that.
