Hard Drive Cloning/Imaging Software recommendations? by jesusapprovesin techsupport

[–]Poor_Irishman 0 points1 point ago

Acronis is great! We use it frequently. Even have a server side so you can build an imaging server and push out the image to multiple machines in the time you can image one. Very good software.

I stream media to my ps3 using the PS3 media server program but I often get stuttering issues. Is there a way to fix this? by SoManySpiderWebsin PS3

Hard wired connection. Same issue on home wifi, switched to hard wired, no problems at all, works like a champ

I work in IT as well. And the link you posted was something online, and the MSE tested was WAY out of date. If your company did that testing then you drastically screwed up by using outdated software. avast isnt bad, but the UP TO DATE MSE is better.

Edit: Malwarebytes isn't even antivirus and shouldn't be compared or tested against the rest...it's not the same thing.

It's not adware perse. You get a popup a day with the free version, either way you look at it, it's decent antivirus for free.

Yeah they drove me nuts, they were minimal, but still annoying.

You have to take these with a grain of salt as well. Not trying to argue, but you can't believe everything you find online. "similar" tests by different groups yield far different results. As well, the version of MSE they used is outdated and no where NEAR what the current version was at the time. Kinda jaded test there...

you do realize that NO anitvirus catches everything... and MSE scores higher on what's caught and missed than avast. However, if you are completely against MSE, i'd recommend avira. Avira is free and beats the crap out of both of them in testing as to what's caught and missed. I don't personally care for it, and I do use MSE, but at the same time, I'm not completely retarded when it comes clicking things/downloads online. That makes the most diffence IMO

I would love to get in to bB and be a part of the community. Just don't want to be a jerk and spam the email ya know. Would be great to find out from an admin.

Actually MSE is very good. You will get false detections with any antivirus. I got more false positives with avast than with MSE. MSE is lightweight and should be running heavy, if it is something is wrong. For what it is, MSE is one of the best free ones out there

i'm not sure then man, pretty sure that is all I did. Check your emails, there should be something in there from EA when you created your account to grant you access to battlelog. If not I would contact their support, and I wish you all the luck in the world if you have to do that.

I don't remember honestly. I didn't have to call them, and I have it working fine, but it was 3 months ago and I can't recall. I got BF3 for my PC and haven't even touched my PS3 in quite a while
