Were ancient people, such as Ancient Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, or the Han, aware that humans once lived in caves with stone age technology? Were they aware of human technological progression on that sort of scale? If so, how did they know, and did they keep record of it? by wassworthin AskHistorians

Perhaps including the development of agriculture itself would help confirm some general ideas?

A preliminary look at the beginning of human agriculture seems to suggest that forest gardens were the first type of "grown food".

In fact, I would like to make what seems to me to be an unusual conjecture that as these gardens became more and more productive or intricate, the gardens depended more so on us than the other way around. An evolutionary cul-de-sac of sorts. Thus at some time, the effort needed for their upkeep began to -ironically - dominate the lives of otherwise nomadic hominids.

This "Garden of Eden" stage would would thus be a very convenient conceptual transition phase that may have coexisted with "savages" as it evolved to civilization.

The vote totals here are entirely opposite of what they should be.

The only thing I see here is firstworlders jacking off to their pre-defined notions of third world misery.

Chicago local politics is really the only thing to come to mind. I can't think of anything worth the Fox News hype.

An extra topic no one mentioned yet: attitudes towards registration in general.

There's a reason that historically, Republicans are famous for suppressing voting access and Democrats are famous for stuffing ballot boxes.

There was a Steve Urkel episode about this - where he gets his ballss and tells Laura what is what.

A dorky young black nerd on TV from the early 90's has more balls than you.

I think just the flower. I suspect you're not supposed to actually eat the tea leaves either.

It needs bright light and constant high humidity, slight acidic soils, and must never freeze.

Did he mean that japonica is a derivative of the sinensis?

Because almost every specimen of camellia in garden centers is a japonica, and the odd sasanqua.

Considering that the 1% has been speaking for you your entire life, I'm not sure what extra human insight this provides. You (probably plural) acknowledging that you're in the 99% is most of the battle in political framing. Controlling what's a hot topic and what isn't sets the course on this battleship ....
