People seem to talk about the incident as if it was a normal overtake. It isn't it is Karthikeyan's duty as a F1 pilot to let people overtake him as easy as possible if he is shown a blue flag.

Vettel was hunting Hamilton, I can see why he wouldn't want to loose any time.

A very very basic one. An old DSLR (Nikon) with a somewhat newer lens (the old one broke) which has a decent zoom (28-300mm).

The rest was luck and intuition, I tried to keep exposure low in order to catch the cars, but even so most of the time I had to manually follow them to have a chance (you can tell from the position of the cars of some pictures, specially the one of the Mercedes with Schumacher in it, but it's the only good picture I got of it, he didn't drive much that day)

Yeah, it should be full, but I won't complain, that way I could go to almost any spot on the track and be on the main tribunes without any problem.

There were people though, not lots of them but not to few either.

I think so, if I remember correctly I took this picture in the 1 hour break.

The had special cars though for viewing exposition purposes, they were located near the box. This wasn't one of them.

But I don't think it's the testing model either, since then it would have been hidden better. The engineers took about 3 seconds once the car was near boxes to hide everything they could.
