1) Because it's awesome. It hops like a grasshopper.

2) I like that the world is still full of millions of wondrous species. Give it a century or two and much of this may be gone.

Best part: "This new 2-inch long leech is named Tyrannobdella rex, which means 'tyrant leech king', because of a resemblance to the extinct T-Rex: both share a massive jaw and gigantic teeth. The question then is will Republicans in the US one day be forced to shift left--especially on issuses like the environment, gay rights, education, and healthcare--to stay in the game at all? For example, conservatives in Britian are currently undergoing such a shift to stay relevant.
