She was being chased down the road by a really, really drunk guy who was trying to rape her for twenty minutes and she never called the cops. This is a separate point.

A guy picks up a girl in his car that was being chased down the street by a man for 20 minutes, and he does not call the cops. Improbable.

OP suggested the girl take the GF to a MEAL to tell her that her boyfriend chased her down the street for twenty minutes trying to rape her. If it unclear what I mean here, it's that you cannot discuss this topic over food.

This girl was chased down the street for 20 minutes by a guy trying to rape her and OP says to tell his GF, but "she doesn't need to lay it on any thicker than she has to". Also, how much thicker can it be laid on? That's as thick as it gets, and those are just the facts.

Let's say he chased her down the street - criminal, but not crazy. Attempted to rape her on a city sidewalk - crazy and criminal. People must be confused about how much alcohol actually affects your inhibitions.

Also, HE TRIED TO RAPE HER ON THE SIDEWALK, but OP follows up with:

"should she right (sic) it off as a drunk mistake?"

Why are any of you buying this?
