I like Crota myself. Day 9 voice does get on my nerves along with his constant face time on camera, but seems to know his stuff.

Or if the sink is near by (usually is), just take the tube, wet it until it falls apart and use that to wipe your ass.

No idea why people don't do this, its saved me numerous times.

Here, the sentiment is totally not the same.

Jaysus, saying to someone "he likes it in the popper" as aposed to "He likes a great veiny cock up his arse" might be the same in meaning, but it is not the same in sentiment, or why else would foul language exist.

Hell, if you guys want to speak like a pair of nonces, carry on, I'll say no more.

Great show, although can't watch one when Jimmy Carr's on it. Can't stand that guy.

Guy runs into Michael Cera, ends up having 2 hour conversation and leaves with a list of Cera's favourite films

The show is based off old BBC school programming that used to be shown in secondary schools in the 70's & 80's.

Its incredibly accurate in its mockery. Took a friend of mine a good few minutes to realise it was a spoof.

Hey Deus Ex fans, I just beat DX: Invisible War and don't understand the hate

Ventura 4 points5 points 18 days ago[-]

The game is average. Its not really bad, but its not remotely good either.

I've played the game till the end and to me it felt like a really small, linear and claustrophobic version of the original.

The story wasn't memorable, not like the original. The severely cut down content, the CONSTANT loading and all this was just so they could turn more of a buck on consoles.

People hate on it, because it has the responsibility of taking the Deus Ex story onward.

Its is very much like the Star Wars franchise, the new 3 films weren't all that bad to some fans, but hardcore watchers that grew up with the originals see them as a bitter joke to their past memories of the first 3.

No Invisible War isn't bad, if they didn't use the storyline of Deus Ex it would have probably silently died in time as an average FPS, but those that played the first do not forget, or forgive...

Now you understand the hate. Now stop rubbing salt in the wound.

Do people respect philosophy more in other countries than America?

I think the Dalai Lama views on teaching compassion as the most important thing to learn, seems to me, a good place to start.

The student who is caring, compassionate, peaceful, and tolerant. The student who sees all humanity as brothers and sisters. The student whose heart is as well-educated as their mind.

I think they mean setting and story and to be fair Bioshock did that well.

but imho Bioshock was utter tripe compared to SS2 in terms of actual game play.

Now i understand the love for Civ4

I can't get into the game, I bought it from Reddits advice, I played the first one years ago, but I just couldn't get into it.

I prefer my Caesar games, Caesar 3 was probably the most addictive game I've played to date.
