Games are more sophisticated than most movies.

Fallout 3 is not a hard game to play, but a complete idiot that was expecting CoD is not going to be able to sit through it. Have you ever gone to a packed movie theater? Half the people are complete idiots.

To give an example: I saw transformers 2 in a theater, on behalf of a friend, and everyone was actually laughing with the movie and not at it. When I saw 1408 people clapped at the end. How many people clapped at the end of Fallout 3?

Im not saying all movies appeal to idiots, BUT the Great Gasby seems to be appealing to a large mainstream movie audience, which usually means lots of special effects and dumbing down. That is why they feel the need to replace Jazz with bad rap. It also seems to be going pretty heavy on the CGI.
