Been pondering on this. MW increases the damage of your weapon by 10% (or 15%), not your DPS.

If your weapon speed is higher than 1.0 hit per second, you're going to see more than a 10% increase in overall DPS with MW enabled.

Does this perhaps explain the oddity which you're seeing?

Are you talking about the 'account name / password' section after selecting the reddit D2 server?

If so, it says 'battle.net info' because the reddit server is a bnet emulator. The game client thinks it is connecting to battle.net. Have you tried creating an account on that page?

No spoilers, that I could tell. Mostly covers the history of the world. There are some ominous 'i fear that X could happen' passages, but they were on things that are pretty obvious (yes, in fact, demons will be making an appearance in D3!)

It is mostly a history of Sanctuary, as compiled by Deckard Cain. Beautiful illustrations in the book. Fills in quite a bit of the lore of the whole world (some of which was retconned). You get to learn about the creation and history of Heaven, Hell, and Sanctuary. Also has short bios of the main players in heaven and hell.

It is a bit pricey, but I didn't regret buying it. The writing is mostly good, but "meh" in a few places.
