Super-Soaker.

I keep one loaded up for when my 2yr old starts crying so hard that he holds his breath until he passes out. Well He doesn't any more. On occasion I have to pull out the super-soaker, give him a squirt and he gets shocked enough to breathe again.

Sometimes this results in a water-gun fight outside, sometimes anger, but these days if he even starts to hold his breath he sees me go for the gun, and he stops himself.

Yep, I'm cruel, but it works, it's safe and half the time he thinks it's funny.

A few points...

Large regional insurance companies are hiring call centre workers soon. Over the summer they usually hire a few batches. Don't assume they'll go through your resume twice with one submission. Apply to each position individually.

While it's not ideal, it Does get your foot in the door. Consider dumbing down the resume so as not to be overqualified. Once you're in moving around isn't hard.

Rumour has it that sun life is hiring a swath of tech workers.....consider a technical analyst role

Consider paying someone to re-create your resume. Usually $150 and the last time I did it, it was the best $150 I ever spent.

Export your resume to pdf. Half of the resume sweeping programs can't process them (especially if it's just an image pdf). PDF's look super professional AND someone will probably have to go through it manually.

Don't forget to have some cheap fun. Releasing stress can be important right now.

Depending on who's the suck (see:most likely to cry). Choose the other to go in and hold her hand as she goes under. It's important that she sees strength and a familiar face when they put the mask on. All smiles and reassurance.

For us, it was me, daddy. Now I pride myself on being strong and level headed in the face of adversity but seeing his terror as they held the mask on his face.....well it took everything in me to remain strong for 30 seconds (it was probably only 10 secs )

Mentally prepare yourself for this.

As a dad who started young, I get judged even as I walk through town.

I mean I had a kid at 20, so it wasn't 16...... but young enough.... and sadly as I hit 30 this year, I could still pass for a 15 year old (babyfaced etc...)

I have a house, a car, a wife, everything anyone else with kids has (although it was much harder for me to get these things because I started young) and I still get judged on EVERYTHING.

Having had young kids and a wii, it essnentially becomes a toy you have to share.

It gets put away when you're done, but you can play it as long as you play together.

It's a great bonding experience!

well the point was that the source code isn't the only place for the vulnerability. One can introduce a vulnerability in clean code with a tainted compiler.

yeah, I found it after weeks of looking but could never be sure because it was from a while ago and had a few different nuances....

Still, I'm not about to transition back to Nvidia, Nouveau's GL works just fine for my uses....
