so my son is just old enough to walk this year for halloween, and loves to cling to everyone's legs. so the thought was to dress him up as american airlines flight 77 and spouse as tower 1 and me tower 2.

umm, it's a pretty thick syrup.

there weren't enough yellow in the first bag so i had to open the second one.

the four pound bag of skittles from sams club was pretty cheap at $6.

also, since it was so thick, i had to strain 9 or 10 times with cheesecloth before coffee filter. and even after that, it's turbid; not see through.

I play at shawnee mission park frequently. Really nice open course, but they don't cut the rough til late July, so if you throw wide it might be gone.

I think if you were able to boil down your argument, the free will side is basically a god of the gaps argument (argument from ignorance). e.g. we have a random event occur because we don't know every single variable. the flip side of that coin is determinism is the only viable option. but this could be a false continuum logical fallacy too. :(

wife and i were walking through a department store buying christmas gifts. we had gone to different sections to buy our surprises for each other. after about 10 minutes she comes up to me and says, we're leaving, now. i asked what happened, she was looking at a crystal decanter for me and a woman said behind her, 'oh, so that's what poverty looks like.' referring to wife. i wanted to hunt down said woman and give her a tongue lashing she wouldn't soon forget, but she talked me down and convinced me to leave.

EDIT: okay, premature /thread.

I am tired of this attitude of I know everything because some guy said something and someone else wrote it down. and possibly this was interpreted as whatever advancements come millennium later are inferior to what some guy allegedly said. fine, have you choice. but stick with it. if you want to praise your religion that says evolution doesn't exist then take penicillin if you have a bacterial infection. refuse to work or turn on a light on saturday? fine, but if you have a heart attack don't call an ambulance or work to find help. hypocrisy is the mantra of religion.

grow a bacterial culture in liquid media. a typical culture will leave log phase and enter stationary phase in about 6 hours post inoculation. but by this guys analogy, you can just keep getting more and more bacteria by letting it wait longer. nevermind that the carbon sources are all but depleted.
