Seriously, take lucy's advice and do a good beginner program like Starting Strength. 5/3/1 is not ideal for beginners.

People who read a lot have the opposite problem: knowing a bunch of words but not their correct pronunciations. Then we try to go around using them in real life and get laughed at. I've experienced this with words like bough.
