Yeah I totally understand to each his own but I am little crazy I love to argue bout music cause its pointless in the end its what you like and that sorta makes it more fun to just come up with crazy arguments why zeppelin is the worst band ever and why DMB hates black people.

Everyone always says "ohhhh carter man he is the bomb" its bullshit pure bullshit I would say technically he has reached a level of achievement but as far as creativity and just being fucking awesome shit man 311's drummer comes to mind, tool, sts9, SCI michael travis is a fucking mad genius he can jump from djembe to kit to laptop and back again, everyone likes beauford because he just seems like he would be a fun guy to hang out with. I will never forget the smell and the sound. First the sound of the air rushing through the leafs above me and second the sound of the water growing closer. After portaging for awhile you start to learn when you are getting close to the end. The smell was of 'swamp gas', I guess methane and sulfur not really sure but it smelt of rotten eggs and I got a reminder every time I took another step. Eventually I would work my way through the low swamped area to a small quick flowing river. The reflection of the sunlight in the water (one of the most beautiful things one can witness on this earth) still gives me the goosebumps. I was 12 years old and somewhere around here middle of nowhere Canada by myself in part of the forest I am pretty sure no one has ever seen or been (I was pretty far off the portage trail).
