i'm ok with the work, just finding the correct configuration is a pain in the butt. sparkfun used to offer a kit but now only 1/3 of the parts are in stock.

it's nice. i recently used it for a web project. i love that i feel that i'm actually working with python. Django is great, but you really feel like you're writing "Django" code, not python.

Check out flask. All it is is an HTTP library (url routing, requests) and a template engine. You don't have to use the template engine but it's pretty nice.

Great for routing urls into a python application that is otherwise not web-enabled.

no idea whatsoever. didn't see it coming, i got it wet on a bicycling trip! Although it was fitting, because the last pictures it took were of this absolutely beautiful lake we found tucked into the crevice between two hills in SW ohio. it was raining and the forest canopy, with the hill sides, rose up like 150 feet above us. it was so neat and of course i had to get a picture of it... and the camera didn't make it. it's soaking in rice now, hoping that it turns back on =\

no idea what to get next. i liked the point and shoot since it could slip into my pocket, but i do know quite well of the restrictions (low and bright light, for one. also i have no control over shutter speed or aperture). So now i think i may get something a bit more powerful but still compact. do you have any suggestions?

yep, although the last three weeks have been really busy for me so it hasn't been as high of volume... and last night my camera finally died so there's another task I have to take care of! Hah. the project is ault park sunrise if you ever want to check it out again. I recently surpassed the one year mark, and 160 sunrises. Winter wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. hope you're doing well these days.
