You can carry a firearm in most states with about the same amount of work.

prove my point. you don't know what you're talking about. to legally own a gun in Oklahoma you have to pass a background check that is limited to open court records. after november first, you'll have to attend a three hour training course (sponsored by the NRA of course) on the general mechanics of firearm safety to open carry your .44 magnum with jacketed loads capable of penetrating cinder blocks intact.
