In reponse to OP's argument that society needs stupid people, I'd like to remind the OP of the resistance to automation of factory work due to the jobs that it would 'destroy'. I believe the need for manual labor is artificially amplified by unions, etc.

If you are a newbie, don't be afraid of scams. Your handful of isk is chump change to most scammers. That said, if you do get scammed, you will likely be blacklisted from that alliance.
