Even if you couldn't stand Kvothe you should definitely read Ender's game. It's like #3 or something in Reddit's top 250 books and the two books are completely different. The main thing they have in common is that they're both talented and pick things up quickly. Their demeanor while having these skills are quite different.

I've read the Hunger Games and found the first one to be really entertaining. I haven't heard of the other book so I'll check it out, thanks.

Yeah! I read this trilogy as well and I should've included this with the other two. Good suggestion though.
