An hour legal isn't much. It takes 10 hours work to incorporate (at least) and issue founder's stock, and at least 20 hours to do a seed or A round.

On my last project we embedded a warning at the top of the page (like the slide down Explorer notify bar) to tell users the pitfalls of IE.

I wonder if a project is in order to mainstream this? Provide a library for website owners to embed in their site code to warn and encourage users to move away from IE.

Love the leader board stuff. So many games waste a lot of time trying to do their own, and end up sucking at it. I'd hazard a guess you are seeing increased traction with the iPhone developers?

My two partners and I just got funding for Loggly. Loggly is log file management, search, alerting, and reporting/analytics for cloud-based web applications. Think grep and tail on steroids for all your log files, in your browser, with REST APIs layered on for good measure. We're in the middle of development, got a few partners landed, and should have a beta out in a few months. Good to see others here in the analytics space!

Current challenges are adding to Solr, and building a cluster that can handle >50MB/s in log file data, design a simple but clean UI, doing proper error handling/unit tests/logging!, getting the new site design in place, and producing the intro video. Oh, that and figuring out how much we are going to charge, and how to collect the money as well! Lots to do, so little time...

As in anything in life, there are people who don't have respect for others, or don't know how to conduct themselves with good business etiquette.

Our worst experience in raising money was a local VC who ended up not showing up for the first meeting. While he had a good excuse for not coming to the meeting, he had no excuse for not letting us know about his situation. We only found out what happened by showing up at the office for the meeting. The second meeting with him fared no better - he canceled it via email the same day we were to meet, with only about an hour's notice.

Needless to say, I didn't reply to his subsequent request to reschedule. You simply can't afford to work guys like this when you have 20 other people to meet.

Actually this worked. I remained calm and explained that it was the palm rest, not the outer case. He went off and talked to a supervisor and came back with a case number for me!
