Seeing as my last two let's plays were blind-ish This thread makes me sad. But at the same time reaffirms some ideas that I was starting to form about my approach to lets plays.

Unfortunately it does not have a mute button, you can probably find software that implements push to talk recording tho.

I have also heard and seen evidence that the nylon trick works good a pop filter

I typically use newegg.com to try and find good hardware, but to find the lowest price I use an extension called priceblink that searches several sites for the lowest price offered on a particular item. Saved me $50 off my mic.

I'd say try to find your own style, You seem to be very sxephil esque right now, and work on editing out pauses, or alternatively plan what you are going to say a little more.
