They are very popular on the forums I visit and can't agree more with the factory look, but make sure you watch a video review on it. I was in the market for one, but the software seems too amateur and slow for myself. If the LCD was upgraded to a capacitive display, I would consider it more. This is one of the best on the market Pioneer - Amazon.com There is a GPS adapter you can get to go along with it as well

I've never heard anything good about the automatic transmissions.

Stock shifter seemed to have a lot of play and movement when in gear. This mod stiffens up the assembly. With the TWM shifter installed, it reduced the movement quite a bit. It feels like the shifter just falls into gear now, having the new knob also helps a lot. I do plan on adjusting the height a bit, but at the moment it feels great.

You can adjust the height of the knob. It's on it's shortest setting.

I installed a TWM short shifter with type-r knob. It was about $300 shipped. Came with the bushings too. This is a great mod, and I can see why this is the first mod for many people. Highly recommended!

TWM sells bushings for all points. This removes the rubber altogether. Installed these over the weekend, shifts like a new car now.
