It's a marketing ploy, folks. In previous years Thorpe Park has put out press releases such as firing workers for contacting the dead and thrill seekers banned from raising hands due to body odor.

If that's the case and Troy was still around, every new episode of the Simpsons would need to revolve around him.

Is this really a direct copy-and-paste of the code that you're running? If so, you're not pulling anything from the $_POST array, you're literally writing the string $POST[gameTitle] to the database.

Your query should look like this: "INSERT INTO reviews (...) VALUES '" . $_POST['gameTitle'] . "', '" . $_POST['platName'] . "', and so on.

I hope this is for a school project or something, because you should never ever ever be putting data directly from get or post into a SQL statement.

Fascinating programming here. When a correct answer is selected, the "correct" graphic is editable text, and whatever it's changed to shows up on every other right answer.

Here's a nice write-up from MSNBC.

Some highlights include employees mixing uranium by hand and an employee who was asked to manipulate a regulatory video by removing pieces that showed cracked steam pipes.

Al Jazeera passes litmus test of its objectivity. Publishes negative news about home base Qatar. by Isqat_Al_Nizamin worldnews

Fox News occasionally criticizes Republicans and applauds Democrats, but that doesn't make them objective or liberal.

Before anyone jumps on me, I do think that Al Jazeera is a quality news outlet that serves an important role for the world. However, one article from a news organization with hundreds (thousands?) of employees and dozens of bureaus doesn't prove anything.

AT&T Charging $2.00 for 1kb data transfer? by [deleted]in iphone

Verizon was hit with a class action lawsuit and FCC inquiry because of the same behavior. They ended up refunding customers for errant data charges. I'm surprised that AT&T is doing the same thing given the millions of dollars that Verizon had to shell out when they got caught.

Anyone notice the HTML 5 Labs site that was linked in the blog entry? It's from Microsoft, and it seems to exist solely to prove that HTML 5 is scary and thus IE shouldn't support it. Here's a gem from that page:

These specifications are unstable and will change. Developer code and web pages based on these specifications will break and will have to be re-written. Use these prototypes only to experiment with new HTML5 features and not for production code.

Apple has allowed apps from almost every legal streaming music service on the web, so that isn't it. The labels complained to Apple about not having licensed the music on Grooveshark, and Apple took it down.

Mog and Rdio are legal services that have the blessings of the music labels. Grooveshark does not. The Grooveshark Blog indicates that Universal Music Group sent a complaint to Apple about the app, which led to Apple removing the app. Grooveshark may ignore DMCA complaints, but Apple does not.
