When I was a kid, I heard the word "suicide" and knew what it meant, but thought it was spelt "sewer-side", like someone killed themselves off by jumping down a sewer or getting run over by a car next to one or something.

I fucking hate superhero movies, they all seem incredibly formulaic and boring to me.

That being said, I actually kind of liked The Green Lantern from 2011, more so than "good" superhero movies like X-Men First Class (hated it).

Granted, the CG was atrocious, but the character seemed more believable to me because he experienced a greater range of emotions/actions outside of the typical "I AM SUPER NOW. I STAND UP TO BAD GUY. I AM GOOD GUY. EVERYTHING AM BLACK AND WHITE. WHAT THE FUCK IS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT?"
