I not disagreeing that a lot of what they do is wasteful, and that they often come across as douches, but they're still bringing issues like bw2002 mentioned to the general public.

They don't run shelters. They take in terminal and un-adoptable animals that other places won't, and often have to euthanize them.

You're also disregarding the fact that they use men in ads too. Even if that wasn't try, they're not objectifying women worse than any other company, and at least they're doing it for a good reason.

Again, there are reasons why Nintendo can sell its systems for the lowest price and still make profits.

Depends on the game, the N64 cartridges didn't have the storage space of the PS for high-res images. The PSX was also released two years earlier too (so the comparison isn't completely fair), and cost 50% more than the N64 at its release.

I'm pretty sure the Xbox had better specs too, and in my experience generally had better looking games. And again Nintendo offered something that was 50% cheaper than the Xbox and PS2.

Not really compared to the competition (NeoGeo, Jaguar, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, etc.)

Nintendo was consistently priced the lowest though, so of course they had to comprimise in brute power. They often had the better games (or ones with broader appeal), so that didn't matter too much.

Nintendo usually prices their stuff (relatively) low compared to Sony and Microsoft, and they rarely go for cutting-edge performance.

They might have held out a little longer, but I don't think they could've taken on 100+ xeno's in such close quarters.

That said, I'd love to see what would happen in a fight with better prepared marines (are you reading this James Cameron? Alas, I know you aren't).
