If our "extremely sloppy and disorganized cutting" were at fault, then why does Carl_Stay_Inside feel the same way about his game and the Messiah game? And why were there no other pick calls during any of our other games this tournament? Do you really think other Regionals-level teams don't know what a pick looks like?

Even if you think that all of those calls were 100% right, you didn't have to gang up on our players, curse at them, and throw a team-wide tantrum when one of us contested a call. Verbally abusing the other team is never good spirit.

I totally agree with you.

I'm on Denison and we played Lehigh in the quarterfinals. Lehigh defenders would intentionally run into other players after their mark got open, and thats when they would call a pick. One of their guys tripped me on an in-cut. They stopped play no less than 3 times a point on calls. They are definitely the least spirited team I've ever played against.

Agreed--spiking is alright as long as you don't taco the disc or do it if you're up 11-0 to a B team.

TIL that Kramer from Seinfeld is based on a real comedian that was Larry David's neighbor. by scottie0083in todayilearned

I hope you will enjoy my ever-evolving home page.

Either this Kramer is great at irony or he's stuck in 1997.

TIL The actor who portrays The Most Interesting Man in the World lives on a sailboat in Marina Del Ray by IzKin todayilearned

This man has an interesting biography. Think Hemingway's The Old Man and The Sea only the fish didn't get eaten by sharks and he didn't die at the end.

Some people just don't get sarcasm.. by twinkie83457in fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

[–]scottie0083 2 points3 points ago

People who are sarcastic when it is insulting and not funny at all deserve table flips. For example: Oh, OP, you understand sarcasm but your friend doesn't? You must be really special.

Now what did that accomplish?

This has to be frustrating for people stuck in traffic. They inch along for minutes and can still see this jokester pedaling.

dont know what shoes to get for indoor ultimate by Genobreakerin ultimate

[–]scottie0083 1 point2 points ago

I use sambas for indoor ultimate and they have great grip. The only downside is that they have no cushioning or ankle support. If you need cushioning or ankle support get basketball shoes. I personally don't feel the need to wear clunky basketball shoes since the Sambas have served me so well.

All the fucking time at the self checkout. by VeryFatISeein AdviceAnimals

[–]scottie0083 2 points3 points ago

Self-checkouts are so shitty that people end up requiring someone else to come over and help almost everytime. They have a guy at Sainsbury's (grocery store) whose job it is to makes sure the customer is using it right. Why don't they just have him ring people up?
