Sorry, I actually didn't mean to pose a question. The results I put up top are from my own resting with everything on Max. I have 2x2gb crossfire. So I compared both. Vram certainly does go over 2gb.

To be honest, you spent a decent amount on a 2500k. Go with the 212. Stock honestly sucks. You won't be doing justice to yourself.

Baby, you got a 2500k. Its made for you to bend her over and stick a cactus up her ass as you ram it into her with a oil rig crane. I've got a 212. You can safely overclock all the way to 4.2. Do people safely go higher? Yes! I've seen 5.2! Should YOU do it? Nah.

Will overclocking it to 4.2 reduce its lifespan. Yes. By like 5-10%. So it will last you over a decade still. ;).

Overclocking cpu and gpu are two different things. Nvidia has pretty boring overclocking abilities, but you should try. The gpu will definetely be your bottleneck. Albeit not really a big bottleneck.
