I feel sorry for him, but at the same time, felt that his decision to flee to Malaysia is just, unwise. This is a country that takes religion seriously, i.e. having Muslim moral police arresting couples for adultery, with almost no respect for basic human rights.

To be honest, I have never looked into the entire context of Timothy 2:12. Now that I have, thanks to this post, it seems that the verse is even worse when I read Timothy Chapter 2 as a whole.

When "Orange" says that the verse is taken out of context, I was thinking "god" only command the verse where a women did something real wrong, or perhaps there's an exception somewhere.

But no, " she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner."

So just because "Eve" came second, and was "deceived," every other women must be quiet and submissive. Ouch?

I have most my domains with DreamHost. Not the cheapest, but they offer free domain privacy, so that offsets the difference I suppose. The best part is no bullshit offer or anything like that. Buy and renew like a civilized human. Very straightforward and hassle free.

Anti-SOPA too, of course.

Note: I used to host my websites with DreamHost, but moved to HostGator after all the excessive down times, but remain my domain names there. I had one domain with GoDaddy, and wanted to join to boycott movement too, only to find out that I've already move it over to DreamHost earlier this year.
