Non-smokers: When someone is smoking near you in a public place (where there is no no-smoking sign), what do you say/do?

Fine. then mandatory baths/showers/febreze afterwards. Cold showers, too, b/c aversive stimuli are probably a good idea ;)

Face-blindness is a different thing from visual memory- it's being able to notice features of someone's face, without being able to recognize the whole. I'm moderately face-blind, and I can't recognize people's faces. I recognize people I'm close to by their hair, gait, mannerisms, but can't ID faces well at all.

Yep. That's about what I got too. No "talk", no nothing. One question in Jr High if I wanted to get bras before school started, and then one embarrassed whisper (Mom, I got my period), and nothing else. :-/

Kubuntu now has the latest flash release. However, unless you install it VERY carefully, you're f'd, and you won't be able to remove the package. So work carefully

I'm not even sure what to do... Grassley's my senator, the form letter isn't going to work- it's aimed at other senators, but I don't really have time to put together a coherent response- I'm still working on my letter to my dear senators about Net Neutrality.

The worst thing is, they're not even nice to have on. Ignoring the aesthetics, they're itchy and uncomfortable. So I'm not sure why the craze, but they're idiotic things. Bathrobes and blankets are much better... combining them is hideous.

I live in Iowa. It's fucking cold here. When it rains, it's like a frozen hell, particularly with the wind. My dog, who is very furry, still ends up shivering enough that he has a sweater (mostly just to absorb some of the water). My husband has owned dogs that wouldn't go outside in the middle of winter without some sort of insulation.

That said, there is NO FUCKING WAY I would ever buy my dog a snuggie.
