New Mexico is my second favorite state, after the one I live in (California). CA is pretty hard to beat... maybe if I lived in NM for a bit longer I'd change my mind.

All the people running for AS positions were promising trips up Storke tower, water stations, and other such luxuries... but I think more money needs to be spent on properly educating bikers (signaling, avoiding unnecessary passing), and adding more signage to paths (yield signs at roundabouts, "SLOW TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT" signs, and so on).

AS Senators and other people of influence please heed our pleas!

I think this is a harsh generalization of CC students... but it is darn funny. And probably represents some of them. I personally know some CC students that are like this, and some that are prime students/humans.

  • Go to class
  • Wear sunscreen
  • Make friends with your hallmates / roommate(s) if possible
  • Get exercise (we have an awesome rec center, or if you're not into that you can run around the lagoon, easy 5k)
  • All the dorms are great, mostly depends on the people you live with.
  • "Santa Catalina dorm" is called FT. Get used to it.
  • Go to the beach
  • Go to concerts in the Hub (on campus) they're cheap and often feature up and coming artists.
  • Register to vote
