If you really must use two routers, there is a 'remote' button which should allow you to connect to the hosts router and see servers on it, you just need to find out the IP.

This happened to my Kindle. It eventually completely locked up and I couldn't even reset it. I contacted Amazon support and they sent me a new one straight away. I suggest you do the same.
