What boggles my mind is that they seemed to put no effort in making him look like, well, a mountain. And this wouldn't take Gandalf/Direwolf movie trickery to pull off - Clegane wears armour pretty much all the time. It would have been so easy to put the new actor in a some oversized armour to give him more width. I love this actor's height, and voice, but the depiction given in the books is that Gregor is some kind of giant mutant - and they could have showcased that, even with the new actor, and easily. Missed opportunity, this.
